PYS Dress Code

Please read! The DRESS CODE has CHANGED for 2006-2007

Each ensemble has a dress code for all performances/photos.  Students dressed inappropriately will not be included in group photos.  If you have a question about whether or not an outfit is appropriate or will meet the dress code, bring the outfit to rehearsal well in advance of the time you need to wear it and get it approved by your group chairman.  (For convenience and economy, touring students should have skirts, blouses, pants, etc. that are washable, don’t need to be ironed and are easy to pack.)  PYS has a concert dress clothes exchange.  See Stacey Page (602) 242-1077.

 Official Phoenix Youth Symphony Shirts are to be worn for all tours, clinics, joint or special rehearsals (as instructed) and any informal performance.  The PYS Shirts must be ordered in advance from Mrs. Page for $18.

CONCERT DRESS

No Colored Accents/Decorations/Accessories
All barrettes, hair bows, etc. must be black.

Men
White tux shirt, black vest, black tux pants ordered through PYS. See SO committee to order. Black dress socks and dress shoes.
Ladies
Long, solid black dress ordered through PYS. See SO committee. Black dress socks/stockings Black shoes (no sandals or tennis shoes)		   SYMPHONETTE

Black tuxedo (coat and pants) White, long-sleeved, formal tux shirt (pleated) with wing-tip collar
